OVERVIEW

ADL is the leading anti-hate organization in the world. Founded in 1913 to protect the Jewish people, ADL works to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and secure justice and fair treatment to all. In the face of rising antisemitism and extremism, we protect, advocate and educate through a mix of programs and services using the latest innovations and technology, and seek to create a world without hate.

MISSION

ADL’s timeless mission is “to stop the defamation of the Jewish people and to secure justice and fair treatment to all.”

CURRENT INITIATIVES

1. Campus Antisemitism Report Card:

ADL’s 2025 Campus Antisemitism Report Card assessed 135 U.S. colleges and universities on how they are addressing antisemitism, using 30 evaluation criteria to assign letter grades from A to F. The report card provides data-backed information for students, parents, faculty, alumni and other stakeholders to help inform important decisions, and 40% of assessed campuses engaged in consultations with ADL following its release.

2. Never Is Now Summit: The world’s largest summit on antisemitism and hate returns to New York City on March 16-17, 2026. Thousands gather in person and online to stand against antisemitism and prove that silence is not an option. The summit features global leaders in the fight against antisemitism and hate, providing crucial conversations, expert insights and actionable steps for communities.

3. COMBAT, PROTECT and REPAIR Plans:

ADL’s comprehensive policy frameworks provide federal, state and local governments with actionable strategies to combat antisemitism (COMBAT Plan), protect against domestic extremism (PROTECT Plan) and repair the internet by decreasing online hate, harassment and extremism (REPAIR Plan).
